As the holiday season approaches, we want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.  We received our first significant snowfall at the end of October, so some of our hunters experienced an early Christmas (see camp photo).  It was a little difficult getting around in 2-3 feet of snow–just ask our guides.  The very next week most of it had all melted.  That was a crazy experience–nature at its best.

We enjoyed seeing many of you this past hunting season and want to thank you for coming out to Utah and hunting with us.  We appreciate our guides and cooks for their hard work in making your hunts successful and memorable.  We look forward to having you back out in 2013.

As you will see from the enclosed fliers and our updated website, we had a wonderful 2012 season.  Kevin Armstrong (who like many of you, has hunted with J&J Outfitters for several years) had a bull moose/buck deer combination hunt this season and harvested a beautiful 46″ bull moose and a 28″ Mule deer.  Kevin was guided by Josh Smith.  They hunted hard and it paid off.

J&J OUTFITTERS: GUIDE  FOCUS Craig Sexton has been guiding for J&J Outfitters the past 5 years. Craig and his wife, Chris, live in Henefer, and they have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Craig enjoys restoring ’67, ’68 & ’69 Camaro muscle cars, antique furniture, and older homes. In his spare time he enjoys hunting with his family, fishing, camping and traveling. Thanks Craig for helping to make it another great season!
